Ramm's death was announced today, he was a huge influence on the beatimprint mindset from the beginning, our mutual friend Dalana had often told great candid stories about Ramm & her growing up in NY in the 70s & 80s I've often though that in alot of ways he transcended status as just as a mere Hip Hop icon & is truly a more cosmic being. Not unlike Sun Ra. He stayed perpetually ahead of the curve operating on his own terms, with his own vision. I like alot of people I know were huge fans & he will be greatly missed.
