OK, THE OhMiBod Music Powered Vibrator

I was reading my new copy of jacques magazine(http://jacquesmag.com) where on the last page I ran across an article about the OhMiBod Music Powered Vibrator (http://www.ohmibod.com/)
Being that it melds a few of my wife & I's favorite things sex, music, & dance culture I had to log on & check them out. My wife & I think this is probably the coolest item we've run across in a long time, & after 10 years of marriage, & 10 years in business together, we run through quite a few "items" (and a hell of a lot of batteries!) I contacted them this morning & they sent me their media kit which i think gives you the best idea of what & how of the OhMiBod.

Check out their site, especially Club Vibe Section
http://www.ohmibod.com/

OhMiBod: Its Inspiration and Mission

Hip Mom strives to help women feel comfortable with their
sexuality
On Christmas several years ago OhMiBod’s creator,
Suki, a loving mom and wife who
worked in product marketing for
Apple® Computer Inc. for many years, received from her husband
of 16 years two gifts that quickly became her favorite presents of
all time - an iPod® mini and a vibrator. After spending time enjoying
both, Suki began mulling over
how she could combine the classic killer
combination of music and sex in a single “toy”.
At the time, the iPod®
phenomena had begun to take on a life of its own. Apple® has
sold approximately 42 million of them since their release, creating an
accessory market ofover $1 billion. Suki also knew that the "adult novelties"
market was at $1.5 billion in
sales. What she had to do was obvious - create an
amazing iPod® acsexsory™.
Beyond the tantalizing market data and
what it would mean to introduce such an
acsexsory™,
Suki was determined not to lose site of its meaningful potential.
Over the
years, she had read a lot of material and
participated in numerous frank women-to womenconversations and
learned that a surprising number of women have issues

embracing their sexuality and achieving orgasm. In fact, according
to the Journal of the
American Medical Association (JAMA), 43% of American
women suffer from some form
of Female Sexual Dysfunction – usually placing the
blame on themselves for their
inability to reach orgasm. Suki felt it was very important
that the acsexsory™ she
developed help women feel comfortable engaging in
self-love. Throughout the creation
process of OhMiBod, the first insertable
music enabled vibrator on the market, she never lost site of this goal.
“Many of the vibrators that are on the market today are intimidating
for an unseasoned user.” says Suki, “This is why when it came
to designing OhMiBod the direction was to make it extremely
approachable by keeping the design elegant and making it
intuitive to use. I want OhMibod to be the first
socially acceptable vibrator.”

Suki felt that linking OhMiBod to the iconic iPod® in both
name and design would gain it
a level of acceptance that vibrators
have not previously enjoyed. She carried this idea of
approachability
through the entire development and design of OhMiBod
- its name,
packaging and website. The name OhMiBod is playful
and promotes feelings of
gratification and pleasure, not embarrassment
or uneasiness. The packaging is hip, fun
and sophisticated and the website
is designed to be a place where OhMiBod users can

share, anonymously if they wish, their experiences and playlists.
After dedicating a year of her life to creating OhMiBod, Suki is thrilled to
finally be able to make it available to people who love both sex and
music. It is designed to be as
enjoyable and appealing to “first timers”
as to those who have a drawer full of “toys” at

home.

“OhMiBod is the first step in achieving my goal to promote the playful use of

‘toys’ by women,” says Suki. “It is not only healthy, but needed!”

OhMiBod: Intertwining Mind, Body and Music

The first insertable vibrator that moves to your favorite tunes

The minute you see OhMiBod, the first insertable music driven vibrator
on the market,
you want to touch it, to explore it. Its elegant design
is so sleek, so smooth, so sexy.
Vibrates to Your Beat Listening to your favorite music
and actually feeling the
corresponding vibes quickly transports you to a
place where music, mind and body truly
“come” together for explosive results.
OhMiBod’s integrated audio circuitry converts the
beat and rhythm of your tunes
into vibrations, creating a stimulating, non-repetitive

vibration while you listen. Although optimized for iPod® products,
it also accepts input
from other MP3 players. Volume controls
the intensity of the vibrations, so the higher
you turn it, the
more intense the vibes!
OhMiBod’s audio enabled microchip
is seamlessly integrated into its elegant design. All

you have to do is attach your music player of choice to the 3’
freedom cord using the
enclosed splitter and you are
set for take off.
Two Vibrators in One! OhMiBod measures 7” long
(5 1/2" insertable) by 1 1/8” wide
and is molded from premium
grade hypoallergenic white non-toxic, non-porous plastic
with
chrome finishing...very iPod®esque. Its powerful motor,
which softly purrs while
providing intense rhythmic vibrations,
is powered by 2 AA batteries. A universal
headphone connector
is integrated into the OhMiBod design. In addition to its good
looks,
OhMiBod is adaptable. It can easily be converted
into a manual mode vibrator by
putting on the special
end cap it comes with. OhMiBod is two vibrators in one!

NEW ARRIVALS @ THE FIFTH/MONDO 2000 USER'S GUIDE(DEADSTOCK)

FOUND A COUPLE OF THESE MINT DEADSTOCK THESE ARE VINTAGE FROM 1992 REALLY AWESOME!!! CHECK EM' OUT

MONDO 2000: USER'S GUIDENEW EDGE
Cyberpunk, Virtual Reality, Wetware
Designer Aphrodisiacs, Artificial Life, Techno - Erotica Paganism, And More

$20

Mondo 2000 was a glossy cyberculture magazine published in California during the 1980s and 1990s. It covered cyberpunk topics such as virtual reality and smart drugs. It was seen as a more anarchic or subversive reflection of its later contemporary, Wired magazine.

Mondo 2000 originated as High Frontiers in 1984, edited by R. U. Sirius (pseudonym for Ken Goffman) and Queen Mu (Allison Bailey Kennedy). Sirius was joined by hacker Jude Milhon (a.k.a St. Jude) as editor and the magazine was renamed Reality Hackers in 1988 to better reflect its drugs and computers theme. It changed name again to Mondo 2000 in 1989. Art director and photographer Bart Nagel, a pioneer in Photoshop collage, created the publication's elegantly surrealist aesthetic. Along with the print version of Boing Boing, with which Mondo 2000 shared several writers, including Mark Frauenfelder, Richard Kadrey, Gareth Branwyn, and Jon Lebkowsky, Mondo 2000 helped develop what was to become the cyberpunk subculture. R. U. Sirius left the magazine at the beginning of 1993, at approximately the same time as the launch of Wired. The magazine continued to be published under this name until 1998, with the last issue being #17.

HOW TO TALK TO A CLUB D.J.

my friend chris allen posted this earlier today, it pretty much sums up the last 20 years of my life. for those of you who read this who aren't djs, you have been forewarned!!!

DJ C.A. by Tim Stuart c.2009

HOW TO TALK TO A CLUB D.J.

If you're going to talk to the club D.J., DON'T SAY...

1. "Play something good... something we can dance to!" The D.J. has to play for more than one person, so what you may hate may be another's favorite song and everything played here can be danced to one way or another.

2. "Would you play something with a beat?" Don't be an idiot. We know of no songs played in a club that don't have some sort of a beat.

3. "I don't know who sings it and I don't know the name of the song, but it goes like this... la dee-dah-dee!" Please, don't sing for the D.J. They have to put up with smoke-filled rooms and dangerous decebal levels all night. Do them a favor and don't give them a rendition of your favorite song.

4. "Everybody wants to hear it!" Oh sure, you polled everyone in the club and, as their spokesperson, you are requesting the song. Also, do not make a request, then send all your friends to make the same request when the D.J. doesn't play it. We're on to you bastards.

5. "I can get laid if you play it!" If you are good enough, you can get laid to anything!! (also been known as "buy the album and get laid for a month!")

6. "I want to hear it next!" The only people who can get away with that statement write the D.J.'s paycheck. Also a $100 tip could help matters.

7. "I don't know what I wanna hear... what do you have?" It's a lot easier for you to go have another beer and figure out what you want to hear than it is for the D.J. to recite the name of every record in the booth.

8. "Hey man, nobody can dance to this!" It is not advisable to say this when the dance floor is packed (but, some people do anyway). However, even if there is only one person on the floor, it still contradicts the statement.

9. "Everybody will dance to it if you play it!" The D.J. won't...I guess that blows a hole in that theory.

Tips:

1 If you ask for a song and the D.J. says he just played it, don't say, "Well, I just got here." It makes absolutely no difference.

2 Don't say, "Is this the only kind of music you play?" If you go to a Chinese restuarant, you wouldn't ask for Italian food. Rock clubs play rock, alternative clubs play alternative, discos play disco, etc., etc., etc...

3 If you ask for a song, be specific. Don't say, "I wanna hear something, anything but this!" Try going to the bar and saying, "I wanna drink something, anything but this!" You can't complain if you're not specific.

4 However, if you are specific and the D.J. says he doesn't have the song, don't say, "What?!! What do you mean you don't have it? What kind of D.J. are you? Why don't you get into the wonderful world of fast food! You obviously don't know what you're doing as a D.J.!"... Expect a bitch slap.

5 Give the D.J. a break. The next time you request a song, stop and think before you speak. And above all, if the D.J. has one hand on the mixer, one hand on a turntable/CD player - wearing headphones, don't bug him. HE'S MIXING!!!

johngomi style essentials, or what i live in YO!

After a trip to Last Call needless markup to look @ what's been reduced this week & trying on an awesome yet $270 waistcoat(didn't buy it!) to find an awesome 1/2 of 1/2 of 1/2 so about $30 in the end equally if not cooler waistcoat. Also, after looking @ some terribly over worked , distessed, & badly cut jeans(notice i didn't say high end designer denim, ie. CRAP!) On that note is i'll go on the record that i still feel that there's an emperor's new clothes mentality when it comes to better to designer ready to wear. I decided to pull three items that i wear all the time that no matter what you add to them can be awesome no budget staples. tshirt, jeans, & boots. i will readily admit to a passion for vans & nikes(courtforce, & vandels), but with the right jewelrey, accessories, and blazer/coat(for evening and out) the following three items can be dressed up or down where need arrises & they are fairly inexpensive & look classic.(FOR ME ALL IN BLACK!(of course) but for most folks color is fine just not on me!

First...
